Do you actually test the tools you recommend?
Yes — wherever a tool can be measured. Our ad-blocker scores come from our own test, run the same way every time on a real browser, with the scores and dated screenshots published. What we can't measure ourselves — antivirus protection rates, a VPN's no-logs promise, a company's background — we research from independent labs, audits and official documentation, and we label what's measured versus researched. Which ad blocker do you recommend?
For most people, AdGuard — even though in our own browser test the free uBlock Origin actually blocked more (96 vs 77). We still pick AdGuard because, unlike a browser extension like uBlock, it's a full app that also blocks on your phone and inside other apps; if you only browse on desktop Firefox, free uBlock is the better call.
